Tenth grader, Dawn, has a Positive Attitude and Loves to Dance

Like most teens, Dawn enjoys going to the movies, talking on the telephone with her friends and shopping.
Dawn is a bright and outgoing 14-year-old. She has an engaging personality and interacts well with her peers and adults. Like most teens, Dawn enjoys going to the movies, talking on the telephone with her friends, and, of course shopping. She is an active and energetic child who likes to dance and is a member of her school's dance team. Dawn does well in school and was promoted to the tenth grade. Her favorite subjects are Reading and Math.

Although Dawn encountered many challenges in her life, she has a positive attitude. She is graceful to those who care for her and is always willing to try her best. Dawn's future aspiration is to become a pediatrician. She stated she wants to help children live a healthy life. Dawn needs an optimistic, encouraging, and loving family who will support her goals and provide her a stable and nurturing home.

For more information on Dawn, or other children in need of adoption, call the La. Department of Department of Children and family at 1 (800) 259-3428. If you are interested in providing a safe and stable home for a child who needs one, please call today or visit www.dcfs.louisiana.gov.
